  You&apos;re kinda wrong about the &quot;end of Battleborn&quot; !<br>It is true that the game is no longer playable multiplayer as even private &quot;servers&quot;(they were just private lobbies) need gearbox servers to be online...but there still is a community that is active for it. The &quot;official&quot; (not really, was just shared by gearbox but not made by them) Battleborn server is active and...there&apos;s a &quot;mod&quot; called ReBorn that allows people to play through the story by bypassing the game&apos;s online checks, and the mod&apos;s creator ( Gweg 🙏) has plans to add coop and multiplayer in the future. The game may be dead but...the community&apos;s still alive and trying!

  the battleborn porn subreddit is deeply, deeply funny because it turns out that when the CEO posted about it, it had exactly... No posts. At all. in fact it&apos;s highly likely that the subreddit was created BY THE CEO HIMSELF.

  It genuinely astounds me that the tweet at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BLO2U6Dk6Y&amp;t=515">8:35</a> was made before Chat GPT. That seems like the kind of word salad you would get from saying &quot;Describe an FPS hero shooter called Battleborn&quot;. Randy was ahead of his time in the most baffling way.

  One more thing about Multiversus is how they killed the game&apos;s modding scene. There was a surprisingly active modding scene creating character replacements for the game that also worked online, but WB ended up DMCAing the Gamebanana page so now nobody gets to have any fun. I know a friend of mine who created a bunch of mods and was even a manager for the Gamebanana page being bummmed out about it. I mean yeah, there&apos;s the off-chance someone could make a mod to make all the character costumes free, but to my knowledge a lot of Gamebanana pages end up removing those sorts of mods regardless.

  Hell the fact they put LeBrom James in Multiversus <i>(aside from being even more embarrassingly shameless a corporate commercial than both Space Jam movies combined)</i> all but puts a HUGE licencing albatross around the game&apos;s neck making it impossible to to survive past a console generation. Cause this ain&apos;t a fictional guest character like Omni-Man or Akuma or half the cast of Smash, it&apos;s a real life person who is a well known and overpaid sports star, you know half the sales in microtransactions are going to paying him royalties! Hell I wouldn&apos;t be surprised if said royalties ended up burning through the &quot;early beta&apos;s&quot; budget faster than a star going supernova. Space Jam really does ruin everything!
