  This might catch some flak but I’ve always stood steadfast that this is a band where you need to hear the studio versions first before anything live, and not because the live performances aren’t amazing, but so you can appreciate how good and more importantly completely different the live renditions can be!

  A Zeppelin song you've probably heard but don't know it is the "Immigrant Song", one you might really like is "Since I've Been Loving You". Zeppelin has hard rock songs "Whole Lotta Love", "Heartbreaker", "Rock and Roll", soft songs, "Going to California", "Thank You", and basically everything inbetween.

  The anthem of our 70's.  The favorite at 6th grade dances.  Blasted in smoking areas in high schools across Southern California.  Remembered with reverence.

  The song itself was designed to accelerate and musically it literally does. Its a journey. Created in a different era. Its medieval sound comes from the recorder (Wind instrument)  Page's  folk-ish  12 string acoustic paired with Robert Plants soft british vocals give it that mysterious atmosphere that really strips you of your protective layers to be able to really send you through the many layers and journey of the song itself. Also noticing that The drummer doesnt start til 4 mins in. And then theres that finale to bring you to iconic guitar solo (which somehow was never mentioned unless ironically) to bring you the final breakdown

  For sure one of the 10 greatest rock songs ever.<br>Arguably one of the 10 &nbsp;greatest &nbsp;tracks of any genre. <br>Whatever, it is a masterpiece.

  You have to remember that there weren’t constant distractions, constant and instant access to nearly anything and everything you want, and life was just much more frugal, slow and simple. &nbsp;Then imagine loving music and waiting for your local record store to get this album in, waiting to get to buy it and then shutting your parents and siblings out of your bedroom so you could put your headphones on and listen to this masterpiece. Heaven.
