  This is their 4th untitled album, it was released in 1971, even though this song was never released as a single it was the most played song ever. It’s the song they are most known for, though a true masterpiece, there’s many debates if it’s their greatest song. Singer Robert Plant wrote these lyrics when he was 23, &amp; wrote 3/4 of them in about 20 minutes. Robert Plant Lead singer harmonica lyrics * Jimmy Page lead guitarist band founder producer &amp; mixer of all their albums, &amp; majority writer of instrumentals * John Paul Jones or JPJ bass guitarist keyboards mandolin multi instrumentalist &amp; arranger * John Bonham THE GREATEST DRUMMER EVER! &nbsp;They got together for their first rehearsal on August 19,1968. By September 25,1968 they were recording their debut album, Jimmy Page funded produced &amp; mixed it. By November 11,1968 Jimmy signed the best record deal at time with Atlantic Records, having complete artistic control higher royalties than even The Beatles had, &amp; the largest signing bonus especially for a new band. By December 26,1968 they came from London to the US to tour, from west coast to east coast. Building a fan base just by word of mouth, their album was released on January 12,1969, &amp; only in the US. Their second album was released in October of 1969, &amp; so on.<br>They have 9 absolutely amazing albums, &amp; all in just 12 years together. They sadly split up in 1980, when their friend &amp; THE GREATEST DRUMMER PASSED AWAY ON September 25,1980 at age 32. They dining release many singles, more an album &amp; concert based band, &amp; have sold over 300 MILLION ALBUMS WORLDWIDE. EACH MEMBER IS THE GOAT OF THEIR CRAFTS, TOGETHER THE GODS OF MUSIC. They &amp; The Beatles are the two most influential bands of all time. No other band sounded or created the great dystrophy of music like Zeppelin. Their concerts would run 3 to 4 hours nonstop, &amp; breaking attendance records.
