Brock, My husband and I like your thoughts on purchasing a tractor and things to think about! We also saw your Bad Boy video when you visited the dealer in Searcy and we live about 40 minutes from that dealer. If you are ever back in this area we would like to meet you and have lunch or get a coffee. We appreciate the time and effort you put into your video's!

Wow, that was a quick 50 minutes and excellent video, specifically for the potential new owner. I admin an internet tractor forum and I’m gonna share this video on it! My tractor fleet grew with the development of my property and operator station was always a consideration, I’m a big guy.
My 1989 Kubota B9200hst was just a mowing machine until they drilled a gas well on my property. They had to do about 2 acres of clearing around my home so I was in need of FEL, BB, and backhoe. The well granted me free gas and I needed to clean the property up a bit and run 600’ of gas line to the house. In came my 2006 Kioti DK45s, truly a tractor ahead of its time, electronic PTO and 4wd, what a great machine, I worked it hard.
Recently, I built and put in a 2 acre pond, its location is in the bottom of a huge power right-away. It necessitates mowing 5 acres of banks and trimming trail corridors I have on my property. That resulted in my current purchase of the TYM4058pc. I needed to equip for a grapple and ditch/bank flail mower. The 4058, off the lot, had everything I needed to run the grapple (3rd function), flail mower (2 of the rear remotes), and hydro top link (3rd rear remote). All that with all the comfort of a nice large cab for the big man. Still have all 3 and they all get used. Thanks Brock for yet another great video!

Howdy Brock! Great buyer's guide. The dealership network is a big deal... as I have found out. In the 12 or so years I've had my Mahindra 3 different dealerships have come and gone. Now the closest to my old farm is over an hour away. The new farm it is about 15 minutes. The new place is kind of in a dead zone for TYM and Kioti. Haven't had time to really dive into what is available locally. It is too bad about the JD dealer network. Used to be all family owned dealerships or dealership groups everywhere around me. Now all of them are owned by Ag-Pro. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Best configuration for a tractor has forward-reverse toggle on the steering column… like a warehouse forklift. It has a gas pedal like a car that regulates speed with throttle for rpm. It has a foot brake for each rear wheel that is usually bolted together so the brakes operate together. It sounds complicated, but it operates intuitively and much more efficiently. Thanks yellow John Deere with a 17’ extend-a-hoe. Great machine. I rented one for a week for about $2000. Most of my work is done with my own compact Yanmar SA325 and a Cub Cadet lawn mower.

It is interesting that when you were in the Kubota Grand L that you were able to use the pedal two ways but eliminated the third way to use it. Using the little protruding section to the right side work very good for going forward. But if you just move your foot backwards and press down on the back part of the pedal with your toe it works very well. Also if you need to turn and look over your shoulder when backing up, your right leg is almost straight down and quite comfortable rather then being stretched out to it’s extreme

Resale value ,and parts availability for the long term is so important to me. Servicing is most important when needed ,not the PRICE or off brands that may not be around in 5 to 10 years

Kubota tractors have a lot of plastic washers on the new ones.
