  For anyone who doesnt know, the call with the sandwich run is actually from a roleplayed Subnautica playthrough where two guys played as support radio communicative Alterra employees who spoke with the actual player as he played, it was extremely immersive and very funny. It started during the game's Alpha and finished after the game's full release. They were invited by the Devs to give that bit of voice acting and without it you now would never be able to find the escape rocket.

  the best part is, fucking up the launch platform like that is optimal in the speedrun because it lets you skip the ladder animation
