  This story has always been super interesting to me. The infection and the fact that you are the sole survivor who is forced to dive deeper really gives you a unique feeling that I don’t really find in many other games. Definitely one of my favorites!

  What I find hilarious is that it wasn&apos;t an advanced alien race that ended a bacterium that could end the the universe. Not a team of scientists and a badass mercenary. No, no. The hero we need to save the planet and possibly the universe is a space janitor.

  So now in subnautica 2, your character is “reprinted” kinda sounds like humanity learned the Tech and are using it themselves. Very cool.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PLM3WfhPwI&amp;t=1874">31:14</a>, cause of death is NOT unknown. the audio log you get for lifepod 3 says an engineer/scientist rigged a seaglide with a cyclops battery. he jokingly states that it should be fine as long as it doesnt overload and explode once they leave. however, the blast hole in lifepod 3 warps outwards, indicating the seaglide exploded from the inside before they even left. this is heavily reinforced by the ONLY fixed seaglide fragment spawn being found right outside lifepod 3.

  Mother was so good I cried when she died. She really held on for what seemed like forever and even heard the cries of what was happening outside her cage. I love how Al-An is super advanced yet they still mess up, it&apos;s like a warning to humanity that as we become more and more knowledgeable we can still destroy our civilization and perhaps the universe.
