  Ismo is really smart, and he knows the language. He is just pointing out the things that you can do with your language. The same things appear in all the languages, but yours is the easiest to make money with it. So its all good.

  The "King's English" is what is taught in other countries as a second language.  That's straight conversation.  The things Ismo pointed out are basically "American-isms". Native English speakers from other countries are also confused by the way we talk, just as we can be confused in England, Ireland or Scotland.

  In the 70s we enjoyed a weekly 3 hrs kabaret show Friday nights on the radio. It made our weekend.<br>There was a German guy, and he killed us for 15 minutes, each occasions for years, by analyzing our language, as he does with the English. Altogether, he doesn&apos;t do 0.1% of it. .... Memories. People had value back then. Today, there we are a joke😂

  That guy was hilarious! I&apos;m not sure how I missed your other reactions to him, but I&apos;m going back to watch them now. I&apos;m not easily offended either, in fact, it might be impossible to offend me. But I do appreciate good humor and this guy brought up a bunch of great observations that, like Mrs. Coach said, as a native English speaker you don&apos;t even notice or give it a second thought. Thanks for introducing me to him!

  Ismo is a lot of fun. I think part of being a comedian is to push our way of thinking in any way possible. It doesn&apos;t always have to be to a pretty place, but making people think about stuff that actually doesn&apos;t add up or give a unique perspective is really important and comedians usually do it very well. As a non-native English speaker, I can relate to some of his content quite well.<br>Great times, thank you for the reaction. You guys really are the shit!
