The fact that the score for Dune Part 2 was not nominated for an Oscar this year breaks my heart. Walking out of the movie theatre the first time I saw this film, I was completely mesmerized by the sound and visuals captured and it was unlike anything I ever saw and heard in cinema history. It won an Oscar in my mind

I like how much Zimmer stresses that the score and the sound are a collaborative effort. He doesn't take credit; he names all the artists he works with, talks about how their contributions were vital to the final score. Respect

At 2:49 that cellist is the same woman who created the sound of the Wonder Woman theme – Tina Guo. This team of musicians is truly legendary.

This reminds me of the behind the scenes documentaries for Lord of the Rings. Hours and hours of amazing detail that made you love the movie even more. Dune deserves more of these.

Hanz Zimmer is the real Lisan al-Gaib, do not argue with him.

When Paul summons the worm and it's coming towards him; that sounds exactly like a Saturn V or Space Shuttle right after it's left the tower on lift-off.

This movie is one of those rare projects where every single person involved has so much love/motivation for it and is producing at their peak. These guys created a masterpiece. The score for this film really stood out from any other movie/show that I've seen.
