Thank you. After 30 years and no degree from UC Irvine, I understand this better. I opened my original calculus book and I'm going through all of it again now. Your video helps greatly!

    I wish math teachers used these methods around the world; we would still have math haters; but those who really wanted to learn would have a much easier time.

    So guys, the unit circle is js a circle w/ radius=1 and its origin is (0,0)

The x-coordinate(horizontal)= cos
The y-coordinate(vertical) = sin

The circle's split into 4 (1's upright)
(Then Follow Counterclockwise)
Quadrant 1 - ( +, +)
Quadrant 2 - ( - ,  +)
Quadrant 3 - (  -,  -)
Quadrant 4 - (  +, -)

Why? Bc im cartisian plain
X-axis follows right&left where
Right = positive(+)
Left = Negative(-)

Y-axis follow up&down where
Up - Positive(+)
Down - Negative (-)

(Remember SOH, CAH, TOA)

So in a triangle,
The X coordinate will be: x = cos
COS = ADJ/HYP

The Y coordinate will be: y = sin
SIN = OPP/HYP

Using ts in an example:
If we have an angle of 30 in a triangle, its opposite(the side the angle's facing) is 1 and hypotenus(longest side) is 2 and Adjacent(the side beside) is root of 3 (imma use [3]) then..

X = Cos
Cos = Adj/Hyp
Cos = [3]/2
X = [3]/2

Y = Sin
Sin = Opp/Hyp
Sin = 1/2
Y = 1/2

So (x,y) =(Cos,Sin) = (([3]/2), (1/2))

U guys can easily remember the unit cirle if yknow the 1st quadrant.

    Your visualization method just made this click for me. I'm studying up because I'm going back to school as an ex-dropout and have to take Calc 2, but I'm so rusty. I used to draw the unit circle on all my tests in AP Calc to help but after watching this I could actually do this in my head, I am blown away
