Finally, this show deserves more attention. The poor marketing hurt It so bad, it's one of the best comic tv shows ever

Fun fact: when I met Tyler I asked him if he could write a quote on the autograph, he said sure but would it be ok if it was a bit dorky but he always loved the line, I said sure! He wrote “and I bought a hat!” Makes me smile so wide every time reading it !

"Thanks my mom made it" absolutely sold me on this show after having my doubts with how supergirl ended up Tyler might be my favorite modern superman

the conflicts between characters are the highlight of the show, as most shows can't write them to make sense as well as this one can

I like that the people in this show had real personalities with real problems and actually felt real

33:51 My ex and I had a few miscarriages and I know 10000000% that she didn't do anything and sometimes unfortunately it just happens. She blamed herself and no matter how or what I said she kept telling me it was her fault. A few months later I watched this scene and cried like a baby. I showed her this scene and we were able to cry together and heal a little together. People ask me why I love Superheroes and especially their on screen depictions and THIS scene is why. It can help lift you out of the darkest times of your life. Thank you to the writers and Elizabeth Tulloch for acting her azz off!

I like how the show differentiates the twins. Jon doesn't have powers, but he's got the superhero mindframe from the get go, though he does make some missteps as his story progresses. We see next season that his feeling of alienation hasn't been given a convenient fix and he still struggles. Jordan has the powers from the start, but needs to learn what it means to be a hero, and his missteps were very prominent as he "tried to have his cake and eat it too". It's like they split Clark/Superman attributes between the boys, the same way they split his color scheme (notice how often Jordan wears red while Jonathan wears blue). By the end of the show, we see how far they've both come when they grow enough to be heroes in their own right.

I always love how they didn’t do the stereotypical teenage brothers at odds things.
