I'm 65yr, my mom collected fruit jars, in the 1960-70s, still looking for the RAMSEY quart jar, several sided. Maybe 8 sides. We even did shows and met Alex Kerr and toured his jar collection, in California. I'm in Iowa.

when I was a teen I found hundreds of 1858 mason jars, dozens of different ones. But I remember a few different jars that I had found, I found six tall glass jars, lids, and bails that said patented the Dandy. They looked like quarts or bigger, and taller than the quart 1858 masons. I also had one or two quart mason 1858 jars that were brown glass, and one that was black. I also found under a old log tavern that had a very old hand maid Bar about 10 foot long made of oak and a rotten pool table. It had a crawl space under the back full of very old bottles. Now get this one of the bottles had a round bottom and a bail holding some kind or hard rubber stopper inside the bottle , It said coca cola length wise on the top. I sold it to a rich woman that collected antiques. She died when I was in the army in 1968. Since then the so called experts on Coca Cola early bottles said I was full of you know what. I still have people that saw it when I found it. Believe it or not.
