My Grandpa used to go back to Oklahoma early every fall. He would stay there until winter and come back home and would bring jewelery made from forks and spoons.

I'm66years old now, I can remember going to a old times meeting when I was around10-11 years old. I saw that trick on cooking fish back then. I remembered it. People would look at me like I was crazy, and didn't believe me. it always works. Thank you for telling it again.

Here on Cape Cod we used to be able to cook in the ground at the beach. Hot rocks, clams, corn, potatoes, carrots, & other of mother nature's goodness...back when we could see the stars at night, when there was no light pollution. Unfortunately we can't do that anymore. Other people took "partying" to a new level, leaving all their trash on the beach, high noise levels, drugs, drunk driving & drunk diving into the ocean. But at least I can say I experienced it.
