Russia has been like a Mother helping India when India was a child in the 1960s and then on till now. There have been minor differences between India and Russia about prices of defense equipment, reliability and tech transfer BUT REGARDLESS we Indians will always honor Russian brothers and sisters with as much pomp as we can.
