  It helps that he is a fan of the books and understands the symbolism very well. He knows that Paul is not the savoir of the fremen, but is the one who starts their decline.

  Even <b>fights</b> are saturated with internal monologues! 😭🔥 I immediately understood why they called it unfilmable. What Villeneuve and the entire production team achieved truly is remarkable. Kudos to the previous adaptations too, tbf. Beautiful book series ☺

  I&apos;ll never forget watching Dune Part Two in theaters. Once the credits hit I knew it was a once in a lifetime experience. It felt like a once in a generation moment, like our generation&apos;s Empire Strikes Back. Really nervous as to how they&apos;ll adapt Dune Messiah, because odds are they&apos;ll make a ton of changes, which is necessary, but I&apos;m excited, and I hope it gives Paul a more redemptive ending that still feels authentic

  One thing that’s huge about these Dune adaptations is that they really are beautiful. And they’re a spectacle. We go to the movies for spectacle.

  I think Lord of the Rings would not have been as good if it were not with Peter Jackson. The way his team took care of the source material and got everyone to buy in was amazing. For years, people thought those books were unadaptable, like Dune, but Jackson and team pulled it off. And like Dune, New Line also gave a lot of running room to Jackson and team, they let them film all three at once, and gave them all the money. It was a miracle those things worked.

  I went to Dune Part One and because of covid everyone had to sit with 2 chairs spaced between them. So only 1/3 of the seat were available. It was the best viewing of a movie I&apos;ve ever had.

  being a long time dune fan i never could’ve imagined they’d get the franchise to this level of popularity after the failures of the past, love to see the gospel of the lisan al gaib being spread🙏🏾
