  I don&apos;t think the average person realizes how important the fact that a gemstone is when the statement is given &quot; not heat treated!&quot; Because so many lower quality stones can be changed by subjecting them to heat treatment and even radiation! As a buyer always a sure to do your due diligence and obtain a certificate of quality before you buy. I admit that I have low quality rings from India that I just love ❤️😘. They&apos;re fun and I enjoy them quite a lot. But, if you are serious about the investment of your purchases...I implore you to not get scammed by unscrupulous dealers.

  The Bolin Ruby tiara was ruined when it was altered. At some point the large very valuable faceted rubies were swapped out for cheaper cabochons
