LOL- Notice Brian kept that choke hold on that little spot until he got that jerk bait clear- he's so right, the smaller spots, the second you let that pressure off, and they feel some give in your grip, they're gonna start freaking out and slinging treble hooks everywhere. The rivers and creeks around me are full of smaller spotted bass, I've gotten stuck a few times. Learning that trick where you keep it lined up with one piece of line and yank it out with the other was a very valuable trick to learn, it's kept me from having to end a trip early a couple times. And I met a girl up at pickwick because she had a hook stuck in her hand, and I took it out for her- didn't work out, but we still fish together- she's a helluva stick, and a damned good kayak angler. Trust me, if you don't know the trick, check it out on YouTube, there's a thousand vids on it- it's worth learning- even if it never gets you a date.

Love that you call your tackle "Tools" because that is exactly what they are! Knowlege catches fish as you have effectively shown sir. Great Channel!

The time fish does not eat a 3-4” bait is when I am on the water

Today’s fisherman call it a swim bait. WhenI was a kid, It was a grub. Curly tail or paddle tail.
