  Alright, I feel the need to make this a pinned comment since some commenters are saying the same thing, and it&apos;s getting annoying.<br><br>If you&apos;re going to type that some of these planet name meanings are a stretch, or that I&apos;m making assumptions...<br><br>Then... *no shit*? That&apos;s the whole point of the video lmao<br><br>Insomniac hasn&apos;t given us a lot of info behind what the actual meanings of what most of the planet names are. So the best I can do is guess.<br><br>If you&apos;re not happy with that, or are wanting the most accurate developer reasonings (which don&apos;t exist, btw) then click off the video now - as it isn&apos;t going to be for you.<br><br>Any unhelpful future comments about how I&apos;m making assumptions (duh), or that they&apos;re a stretch (without being constructive about it) will be deleted.<br><br>Other than that, sorry for dampening the mood lol.   Daxx comes from Daxter and Barlow from Tom Barlow, these are confirmed by Mike &quot;Dodger&quot; Stout :)

  You could also argue Smolg could be a play on smog, which would also make sense for such a large factory in the clouds.

  Should note that one of the Obani Gemini is named Pollux, short name of Polydeuces, a Greek god and twin brother of Castor, and incidentally, both Pollux and Castor are stars of the Gemini constellation

  Marcadia is a likely combination of &quot;Mars&quot; and &quot;Arcadia&quot; Mars referencing it&apos;s orange coloration, and Arcadia meaning it&apos;s supposed to be an idealized planet of peace, simplicity and connecting with nature. Where life is uncomplicated and harmonious. Or in other words, a &quot;Utopia&quot;

  I believe Novalis comes from nova, as it&apos;s an explosive star, and that planet is supposed to explode after Drek breaks it. And Smolg is from smog, as the planet is covered in it
