If the beginner/intermediate studied and practiced only this video for a while they’d have more tools at their disposal than probably 80-90% of all guitar players. Gold.

When this lesson came out 9 months ago, I watched the lesson to the end and marveled at how effortlessly you navigated around the triad shapes while following the chord progression. But it didn't click for me. 9 months later after using one of your earlier triad lessons on triad shapes on almost a daily basis, although finally knowing the shapes, I could not actually use them while improvising. But looking at the lesson now, a light bulb moment has happened and I believe that I can finally start to actually use them in my playing. The understanding of the embellishments and the inversiones are starting to make much more sense to me today. Learning guitar is a long, never-ending journey. You are one of the best guides Adrian for that journey. And I am one of those idiots that use lessons from at least 15 other guitar teachers. Probably ADD. Bless up Brother.

The music in this lesson made me think of Morricone's Spaghetti Westerns. Beautiful tone and playing, as always. Adrian is such a great teacher.

I'll just note that this is probably the only triad lesson he's given with those particular glasses on.

Adrian is in a class of his own as a teacher and musician. He has the wonderful ability to convey his deep understanding of guitar to others who are not at his level but want to develop.

Wonderful lesson as always - so clear and well organized! At a certain point I found it useful to memorize the three-note groups for the seven triads in C major so I could recite them: CEG, DFA, EGB, FAC. GBD, ACE, BDF. No matter what key we're in, all the triads will be some version of those groups. So if we're in the key of E, the I chord will be E, G#, B. If we're in the key of Bb the IV chord will be Eb, G, Bb, and so on.

Once again you have pulled pulled from your seemingly inexhaustible bag of guitar tricks and tools a useful lesson from which to learn, Many thanks as always Adrian!

Great lesson as usual Adrian. Much appreciated; very useful stuff. I could listen to you bang on about Triads all day long. Near the end you refer to superimposed or "upper structure" triads. A future lesson on the use of upper structure triads to access those upper structure color tones would be most welcome. Also, more Luna / Galaxie 500 / VU / Arthur Lee's Love.

I can never get enough triads. I vote for more triad videos. Your triad lessons have absolutely changed how I play guitar, and the caged system too.
