  This is in their Post from 3 days ago... <br><br>&quot;Last week we received some news we want to share about Homey 🐾<br><br>He has been dealing with swelling in his left hip and went to the vet for scans. The results showed a tumour that has spread into his pelvis. It has not reached his organs which is a small comfort, but they have confirmed it cannot be removed and surgery would not improve his outcome. We have spoken to a specialist about the best care plan to keep him comfortable and happy for the time he has left.<br><br>Homey is a big part of our family and of CEE. He has been with us from the beginning and has been there for so many jobs, videos, safety checks and moments that all of you have also shared with us. So now he has officially entered a very well earned retirement from his Safety Officer duties, and we are making sure his days are as cosy and full of the things he loves. <br><br>We know how much he means to this community and that many of you love him just as much so we will keep you updated. Thank you for all your support, kindness, and love for the best boy.<br><br>Karen &amp; Kurtis

Homey isn&apos;t just a safety officer — he&apos;s the heart and soul of CEE, and he&apos;s brought so much joy to everyone who&apos;s followed along on this journey with you. <br>While this news is tough to hear, it says everything about who you both are that your focus is on making sure his days ahead are filled with comfort, love, and all his favourite things. That&apos;s exactly what he deserves. <br>Here&apos;s to the best boy enjoying the most well-earned retirement there ever was — plenty of cosy naps, extra treats, and all the love in the world.   I’m a 83 year old who has background in work similar to what you’re doing when I had job working in the USA. I worked for machine tool manufacturing company based in Cincinnati, Ohio (company I worked for was LeBlond Machine Tool Co. and now called Makino a Japanese company) and was application engineer that did similar type work that you currently do. Now totally retired but can now look back at what I once did your channel is something I enjoy watching because it helps me relive bygone days when I once did similar work. By the way you are very talented and through in everything you do which makes it so enjoyable for me to watch.

  One of my favorite sayings is. &quot;Remember, a pet is a part of your life but you are a pets whole life. Make sure to cherish it while you can.&quot; Homie will be missed alot. Love that you have allowed all of us to be a part of it even from far away.

  Karen and Kurtis. I was heartbroken to hear of Homie’s prognosis. There is not much worse than losing a beloved friend like a dog. They love and are loyal while asking for nothing in return. I lost my Great Dane a while back but we still have a 4lb “killer” tea cup poodle. Rudi sits and watches Homie every week. Thank you for sharing Homeless with us every week. He is a wonderful dog. I hope he enjoys his well deserved retirement. I am sure he will get love and STEAK from you. When he crosses the bridge, he will be in great company. God bless you Homie. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

  Those hand scraped ways were beautiful. &nbsp;Mate, sorry to hear about Homie. &nbsp;One couldn&apos;t ask for a better dog. &nbsp;We&apos;re given dogs for a short period of time. &nbsp;Cherish them. &nbsp;They love unconditionally.
