What's this? An actual interview with Dave Grohl where he does not get one single question about Kurt Cobain? Wonderful!

I saw Dave outside of a restaurant one time, chasing his daughter around a fountain, laughing with her, picking her up, and living completely in the moment. Yes, he's a rock god, but it was obvious that before that, he was a great dad. I would love to meet him sometime, but I never considered interrupting him while he was with his family.

I love how every Dave Grohl interview feels like just a conversation between friends.

I can honestly say, I'm a Black guy and if I hear "Everlong" in any format, rock or ballad, I'm jammin' to it.

I think it speaks volumes that Dave has been in the music industry - and in the public eye - for over 30 years and has never had any huge scandals or controversy or bad allegations against him. That kind of impeccable track record can't just be luck and circumstance. I really believe he's a good guy.

Dave Grohl is the Forrest Gump of rock n roll. Everyone loves the guy. He’s done more shit and met more legends than you can imagine, but he’s still a down to earth guy that doesn’t know he’s big fuckin rock star. He’s just DAVE!

Letterman was right saying Desus and Mero are the future of talk shows. None of the current late night talk shows could have such an interview so casual to get such natural insights from their guests.

Dave's a rockstar that schedule's his life around taking his kids to school in the morning. That's a blessed life.

Dave is the ultimate Everyman.  One of those rare people who becomes wildly successful but never ever stops being as excited about what he does as when he dreamed about doing it. His greatness is something everyone can aspire to because rather than seeing his own greatness he seems to always approach everyone else with the attitude of "Oh my god I'm having such a great time. Want to come along?"  His joyful passion about music and life in general is contagious. I hope he is able to keep rocking for decades to come.  The world is a better place because Dave Grohl is in it.

No bullshit, the Little Richard story HAS TO BE true! I met him in 1987 and sure enough, he was in the back of a limo - rolled down the back window half way and was like, "God bless you - so nice to meet you!"
