  「解剖台の傘とミシン」の元ネタは、19世紀のフランスの長詩『マルドロールの歌』に出てくる一節だと考えられます。全く関係ないもの同士の出会いの奇妙な美しさを表した「デペイズマン」の原点です。もしかするとこのミクと私たちの出会いも傘とミシンのようなものかも知れませんね。

  I felt there was something a bit odd yet highly specific with the line 「解剖台の傘とミシン」at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ObvFPLk8eI&amp;t=111">1:51</a>, which translates to &quot;An umbrella and a sewing machine on a dissecting table&quot;. This is a direct quote to a line from Isidore Ducasse&apos;s &quot;Les Chants de Maldoror&quot; where he describes a young boy as &quot;...beautiful as the chance meeting on a dissecting-table of a sewing-machine and an umbrella.&quot; It&apos;s basically a surreal description of a chance meeting of two things that have nothing in common with one another.<br><br>I feel like this entire video with its subliminal spaces talks about the similar differences between us as viewers and Miku as a concept. The way I see her answering calls is like artists making her respond in different ways, relating the various emotions and expressions she does. As someone who only dabbles casually in song writing and drawing, I kinda relate to the persona trying to pick up the phone, but then feeling they&apos;re inadequate and just giving up. The lucid dreaming segments like seeing Miku in the same room or constantly changing the channel without anything happen to the TV kinda conjures up the same feeling of &quot;keeping things to my dreams instead of actually doing something&quot;. Like I&apos;m constantly procrastinating or giving excuses for not trying.<br><br>When it eventually does happen and the world opens up for me to &quot;live my dream&quot;, my moment of having a &quot;chance meeting with two things that have nothing in common with one another&quot; is finally realized... but then it eventually comes to an end. Because Miku isn&apos;t real. She&apos;s a digital representation of the dreams of thousands of creators. But despite that, my version of her still remains there in the dark with a rainbow and a field of grass. Even though I may have forgotten and moved on, maybe to my next creation or away from vocaloid altogether, that version of &quot;her&quot; still exists and will always be there. And that&apos;s quite a wonder if you think about it.
