PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU COMMENT: Steve was incredibly open and honest about losing over $40,000 USD chasing his dream in Thailand. That takes courage, and I really appreciate him sharing his story with all of us. My question for you: What's the biggest lesson you've learned from a financial mistake or business decision? Would you ever risk everything to build a new life overseas? Let's keep the discussion respectful and constructive - there are a lot of valuable lessons in Steve's journey that go well beyond money.

Thanks for keeping the conversation focused and constructive.

👍Follow my journey and hit the subscribe button - it's free and so is my content.

Best way to support the channel.
💰Support 💵
🍺 Buy me a “coffee” - https://buymeacoffee.com/aussienomad
💰 Contribute directly - https://paypal.me/AussieNomadLife

Thanks for watching, and if you're new here, welcome to the Aussie Nomad Life community! 🌏

hHe swung and missed, but he gets to step back up to the plate another day. I’m sure he learned a lot from this experience and can take those lessons into his next at-bat.

Just when I feel disillusioned with British youth these days and their pathetic "tax the rich woe is me the rich are greedy" rhetoric, along comes this lad and gives me hope in our youth. I hope you read this son and take some inspiration. I came off the council estates, left school with no qualifications, got into the city, made a load of money, went travelling at 30 and spent it all. Came back to the UK, started a business, made a small fortune (and spent the lot) then it went bust in 2007. Took some time out to raise my kids (but run a few fairly small businesses, only part time), started another business about 3 years ago at the age of 50 and i'm doing ok, decently ok in fact and I work one week a month. I've never strived to be a millionaire, only to earn enough money to have a lot of fun in my life. The only thing is I still have my UK assets where maybe you don't at your age but other than that, you will definitely make it. Take some time out, learn from your mistakes and think about your next big idea, one with low risk but decent returns and remember, "he who dares wins Rodney". 👍
