I remember this match it was unexpected win for India as India lost maximum of the matches the chase specially the day night matches.
Mungiya with small his knock and Robin Singh and Jadeja tried when India had to chase specially when Robin Singh came he maximum of the times what and try to score maximum runs and make India near the target but many times he was not supported by other players only Jadeja and supported him and Mongia with the small Runs.
Azharuddin was one of the most consistent players with Ganguly and Tendulkar.
What players like Azharuddin and Jadeja and Robin Singh always lead under pressure whenever the conditions were critical.
But Agarkar played this inning and it was a shocking victory for India that too against Sri Lanka because in those days Sri Lankan team was more dangerous like the other English teams

Agarkar 26 of 12 balls and Robin Singh 12 off 26 balls😂....Robin singh responsible for two runouts, most important of that was Jadeja

Where are those idiots who say "wE uSeD tO sWiTcH oFf Tv WhEn SaChIn GoT oUt". In this match both Sachin and Ganguly got out cheaply, Azhar played a captain's knock and single handedly won this match. There are many like this where Azhar won it alone for India.

Only ODI match won by Ajit Agarkar in his entire ODI Career of 191 ODI'S 😂. His only other great performance was 6 for 42 against Australia 🇦🇺 in test match at Adelaide in 2003/4 which India 🇮🇳 won.. This guy just won two matches in his entire Career (1998 to 2007) and is now trying to dump matchwinners Kohli & Rohit from the Indian team.😅😅

Brilliant game plan by captain Azhar bringing Mongia and Srinath as pinch hitters. Utter flop performance by Sachin and Ganguly.
