  I remember reading some golden age Superman comics my dad had, they were the small books that had four or five issues packed in. It had the love story of when Superman met and for a while dated a mermaid Lori Lemaris. I was at first confused but then my dad said, “He’s from outer space and the last of his kind, from how he was raised to the records of his father left behind he understands that love comes in all forms.”

  oh snap (do people still say that?) this is pretty awesome for me. I was listening to/watching your best superman ever playlist a couple nights ago while building out of cardboard an elaborate cat house for my kitties. It took three and a half hours to finish what I thought was going to be an hour long project. quitting smoking tobacco is extremely productive for me (I&apos;m on my second week).

  There&apos;s a golden age issue of either Superman or Action comics where a child is struck by a car, and Superman basically declares was on motor vehicles...<br><br>Perhaps his reaction in that issue is informed by trauma he had experienced when his parents died in a car wreck?

  I think how the kents died, could tie back to when Jerry Seigel lost his father in a robbery. As he revised the origin of Superman. Thats what i think.
