  In my opinion, a big issue with Hwoarang right now is how the string realignment in Tekken 8 works. It&apos;s not something that necessarily affects his balancing that much, especially when you consider that you can step pretty much everything he has to either side now, but even if it&apos;s not a &apos;balancing&apos; issue, it&apos;s still an issue from a learning perspective, as it makes Hwoarang so much more unintuitive.<br><br>Whereas in previous games, if you step Hwoarang, he&apos;ll whiff into non-existence, there are now a lot of times you&apos;ll get clipped once you stop your sidewalk, or if you try to punish too early, things like that. That can make it feel like you can never move, which is not the case, as that&apos;s literally the primary counterplay.<br><br>So when you combine that with the fact that Hwoarang was already a hard matchup to learn in older games, and with how oppressive every character is in S2, pretty much everyone who doesn&apos;t have a Hwoarang they regularly play against will feel he&apos;s way stronger than he should be.<br><br>Universal changes to how tracking works would do wonders for how this character is perceived. That, and getting rid of the crazy insurance he has when whiffing specific options, would probably bring a much more positive light to the character without him even needing any major nerfs (which I still think he needs, it&apos;s just that you can say that about every character. I main Kaz and I managed to make a list of 16 different moves I&apos;d like nerfed on him, so saying a character &apos;needs nerfs&apos; doesn&apos;t mean a whole lot anymore.)

  Only way I can deal with lars as a jun main is to Subaki the sen31 mid punch on reaction. What&apos;s annoying is when he goes low and I try to cancan it tends to not launch because the second kick will miss for some reason.
