  At last, someone who knows how to place pattern pieces to waste less fabric, has an eye for colour and is as perfectionist as I am about sewing accurately. It’s been torture watching some of the YouTubers who have been playing this! Someone used silk for a bodice and added velvet flutter sleeves. I know it’s only a game but it was strangely painful to watch 🤣🤣🤣

  I love this game because there's no hemming, no ironing, and my back isn't dying after finishing a garment. XD

  Btw there’s a little option in the settings menu that makes the sewing mini game a lot easier. I personally consider it a life saver of a feature.

  as someone with a college level experience in fashion design, this is like a breath of fresh air compared to all the play throughs i've seen so far. no shade to the others tho 😭😭

  Really enjoyed someone who actually knows how to design clothes try this game. Though some of these dress prompt are painful to design, I had to make sequins cuffs because I needed more than the bodice to meet the 10% and I wasn't adding them to the pink silk skirt. The biggest tip I have is for directional fabric is to slowly drag from the sidebar(if turned put it back) then rotate the same direction for all the pieces, when the pieces are put in the sidebar they orientate themselves top up. I know grain direction matters but as long as you sew it together well it will meet the quality needed, the gradient fabrics are a bit tricky to get the gradient to actually show on the dress and I had to place them at 75 cross to get the gradient to show in the skirt.

  You can pick multiple fabrics to cut from. Just use that pattern on the fabric. Even if there’s fabric cut. It just replaces it

  Pro tip when drafting a pattern you can click on the box with the title (like “princess bodice”) and it’ll bring up a menu of all the designs that you can filter through. It’s especially helpful once you unlock more styles!
