Some assumptions like Wallis wasn’t sexually adventurous makes this just another documentary of preconceived ideas, so again, this has me feeling it’s not completely accurate just an updated version of all that’s gone before. In truth no one that did not personally know this woman can give their opinion.....and who truly knows anyone especially and more so if they’re a stranger.

She wasn't beautiful but carried herself with great dignity, and grace. Beautifully dressed. Her posture was beautiful. Seemed to age well.

Strange that this film stated that Wallis was in an abusive marriage at the time she met Edward VIII, however, while that may have been true for her first marriage to Win Spenser, by all accounts and the letters to Mr. Simpson regarding their pending divorce, that she was still in love with him. Wallis used to make fun of Edward according to staff, with her husband, Mr. Simpson, calling the King basically "Peter Pan", especially because he wrote in such a childish manner to Wallis. He followed her around like he was her pet.

This documentary is well made. However, it omits a large part of Windsor history. Where are the Marburg Files? The Windsors’ visit to Hitler and hr anti-semitism?
