Absolutely INSANE to hear Brandon talk about how little he was paid. When being but a manager of basically an entire department AND on screen talent a lot too.

I find it really funny how Brandon describes how frustrating it was when the sponsors had too much say in the content which is a lot like what burnie described in the episode of morning somewhere when he got an unsolicited script edit back from the sponsor.

Brandon if you see this I hope you're doing well and thank you for all the entertainment you helped provide over the years.

A lot of RT fans overlook people like Brandon and the work he and others did for the company. Rooster Teeth wasn't just the 12 or so constant on camera personalities with occasional guests. it was hundreds of people all doing their best day in and day out. Brandon was practically there from the ground floor too so he contributed to the foundation way more than most realize

Brandon was always awesome on the podcast. It was when people like him and Miles left the company that you knew it was dying.

As a former long-term/OG RT fan, man this interview was both a balm and a journey to listen through. I cannot give enough kudos to Brandon for how open and honest he was here about everything, especially his personal experience, struggles, etc. I'd always been curious about his perspective post-RT because I always saw him before then as one of those "glue people" behind the scenes that kept things going, so it's wild to see he'd even been more involved than I'd even previously thought, and that he'd been one of the voices pushing for some of the content I ended up connecting with most.

No idea if he'd ever read the comments here, but if so, I just want to thank him for really making the best out of the content that was being produced and for advocating for the comedy that almost never made it off the page. I'm one of those niche few who loved Sportsball with my whole heart (we existed, I swear lol), and What Do You Know was something I, too, thought was just so deserving of more and really saw promise behind. I really am grateful for his role in giving them both care and attention even when the dollars or views might not have been what was desired, cause it did make a real difference to those who were still watching and enjoying at that time.

I hate that the ending at RT was really unfortunate for all, but I'm glad Brandon's in a better place now. Major respect to him for his candidness on all this.

Brandon, Miles, and Kerry use to be my favorites in the non-AH cast. Never knew people felt any sort of way about him.

So sad to hear what a tough time Brandon had. I always enjoyed him on screen. Lots of respect to him for being so open in this interview. Genuinely hope he continues going on to bigger and better things.

Man I appreciate this channel. Rooster Teeth and Achievement hunter got me through my childhood. I still dream of becoming a YouTuber and making fun videos. Now I have more responsibilities and less friends that can relate. 🙃

to me brandon often played up a character like how elyse (fh) did, throwing a pitch that was meant to be hit. but for many of the reasons he listed here, people didnt get it or already decided they didn't like him.

people like him can set up some of the funniest moments for others and get hated for what wasn't really their opinion or idea. the projection/lowkey jealousy thrown on him was really a shame

this was a fun interview to watch! great work 😄
