  Small correction on Talisman of Evasion, it gives slightly more than 15% EHP. An easy way to understand this is change the evasion chance to 50%. If you have 50% chance to evade, you don't have 50% more EHP, you actually have 2x. I'm not 100% confident in the exact answer, but I believe 15% evasion gives 17.6% EHP. My math, though possibly wrong, is you have 100% chance to get hit, now you have 85% chance to get hit, so 100/85

  The fact there are so many S tier items is what gives WC3 a lot of its charm and replayability for me. Each game is a mini RPG where you get dopamine hits finding such a fun assortment of items.  WC3 has me not wanting to win sometimes because I'm having so much fun with a decked out hero. Hard to find that level of charm in games today.

  The Boots were called 'boots of elvenkind' not 'elvenskin', and they probably changed because of legal reasons as that's what an item is called in DnD.

  The Boots of Quel'thalas were the Boots of Elvenkind, not Elvenskin. They are an actual item in D&D, probably why they renamed it, to avoid any claims by them.
