  Airline captain here…I loved this video! I travel quite a bit, and contrary to public opinion, I do not fly for free. I hate flying standby so I pay for my tickets just like you do (no discounts except my own miles I accumulate!) and I try different airlines as well. I do want to tell you though - Cabin temperature is absolutely not always easy to control. Especially on regional airlines. As a pilot I can tell you that keeping a metal tube subjected to heat and cold temperature controlled with fairly simple environmental control systems is not easy. And for those of you wondering…on a 70 seat jet, there is one temperature control. The “back” and the “front” do not have their own systems. As a captain I do the best I can with the tools I have. &nbsp;But just realize that if you complain about the temperature as you deboard I absolutely cannot even <b>try</b> to do anything for you at that time.

  As a flight attendant with 22 years of service. Thank you for helping to put things in a proper perspective, comparably with other main cabin passengers. You have plenty of patience and an open mind. <br>There are a few things that I could provide further insight by giving explanations. <br>Just as an example, most airlines only have certain items for purchase during the flight, depending on the length of the flight and/or time of day/night. <br>So if you felt there was “only slim ‘pickens” that could be directly related to how the crew is catered and have zero say so about buy onboard availability. So the rating system for that particular petal of research could be slightly skewed. <br>Again, thank you so much for being so thorough and accepting certain factors. <br>You guys are so much fun to watch!!!

  Hi! US Flight Attendant here! I would consider taking the temperature test off the wheel. While cabin temperature is important, we as flight attendants have a pretty limited ability to change the temperature. On some aircrafts, we can change it slightly (up or down a couple degrees), but the likelihood of this working is...slim at best. If things are really extreme, we&apos;ll call up front and see what they can do (and they pretty much have heat or cold--not a true thermostat when talking about narrowbodies or regional jets). The air conditioner/heating system is also not even everywhere on board. If we have the heat on, the back of the plane could be roasting while the middle is still very cold. Sometimes there are factors outside of our control (like sitting near the exit rows) that can allow colder air to seep in. As FAs, we try our best to keep the cabins as comfortable as possible--it&apos;s our office, too!

  American Airlines since 2018 actually does have free entertainment onboard. The WiFi isn’t complimentary but the entertainment is thru your own device.

  I think the bathroom test is pretty pointless. I have personally been on hundreds of flight across a lot of different airlines and never ever seen a bathroom be below passable
