fun fact in the comics venom and eddie are quite literally a couple. They call their union a marriage and are raising a kid together.

It is not that venom chooses not to create or do insane stuff like carnage or riot but he is physically incapable of doing even half of what either of them can

Carnage is venoms son - carnage is red because he is a creation fusing the venom symbiote and Cassidy blood. He not only is stronger because he’s the next generation compared to venom but also cause they adapt and become who they are as a whole based on the host personality and character!!
