I’m a fisherman from Hawaii and we eat mullet all the time. However this is the very first time I’ve seen anyone else eat it! We steam it then add ginger lemon soy sauce and some of the broth green onions and parsley. Then we sear it with very hot oil and eat it with rice. I’ve since moved to Texas and haven’t eaten a mullet in years! That is ine fish I truly miss eating! Thank you for this video!

Back in the 70's my brother got a invite on a airboat. On the way back to the ramp the guy hit something running 50 mph thru the sawgrass and flipped the airboat throwing both of them out. They got the boat bottom side down and limped on back to the ramp. No injuries, but that was my brothers first and only time on a airboat.😁

Your true fan from Kansas here again and I grew up in the panhandle there in Florida and have eaten A LOT of mullet. My granny used to cook my favorite every weekend, fried mullet and grits !

Great video! I will take a cooler full please 😂. We eat it smoked, fried, or any way. It's great fried with cheese grits and baked beans. We smoke the row also.

That looks fun. You know we all think things are not worth catching like Mullet and yet so easy to catch and good food. Thanks for sharing.👍
