Maybe you are catching the same catfish over and over. Bring an ink marker and draw a smiley face on it so you'll know how many times you catch it.

Why are you using such a heavy set up? I mean the 6000 series reel with a medium heavy rod with like 50lb braid is super overkill for what you are doing. I did just subscribe though. Tight lines!!!!
