  My dad once narrated this story to me when I was 12..He was a Captain (Kenya Army)...He was trained in Israel, India then Sandhurst Military Academy way back in 1980&apos;s...RIP dad

  Regardless of a man‘s background, one has to admire that Israel and its army officers defend their Land and their citizens regardless of the difficulties. Not many countries in the world have the balls to do this to that extent. The motivation is love for your own people. This is one more reason to respect the Israelis.

  This occurred at a time when no nation appeared ready, able &amp; willing to halt the slew of terrorist hijackings that were going on at the time. It was a boost of good news in the era that was sorely needed. The Israelis deserve immense credit for carrying out this dangerous but courageous rescue operation. Kudos.

  I was steward in Air France Cie at that time and we had been so touched by the Israeli operation and the lost of the commander on the spot.

  I remember marveling over this event at the time and the courage this team put into rescuing the hostages. It still impresses me to this day!!

  This happened in a time when real men took control over terrorism and they were heroes in our eyes. I was only 13 at the time but I can remember the feeling of pure joy when my parents told us about it. I wish that people these days had &nbsp;⚽⚽ like these men had and to squash lawlessness with such intelligence and speed.

  Salute to those IDF Commandos who participated in the Entebe rescue operation. Even today I tell my friends about this operation and their love and dedication towards their country. Tributes to the fallen brother of PM Benjamin Nethanyahu.

  I like how the Israeli commandos were very honest in talking about their fear. &nbsp;They didn&apos;t act like they were fearless cowboys.
