  You can&apos;t get the 20 years back, but you can change what you do with the years you have left. Someone starting at 40 doesn&apos;t necessarily need to take enormous risks to catch up; they need a process that makes the available capital work harder without turning the portfolio into a casino. <br><br>That&apos;s the distinction I care about. My long-term holdings provide the compounding base, while &nbsp;Midavest&apos;s &nbsp;delta-neutral yield vector gives me an additional way to seek returns from the market environment instead of depending solely on time.<br>The retail market is increasingly taking notice of the advantages it offers.

  Started saving at 35. Started investing at 38. Went from -£1,500 in family debt at 34 and now at £27K in investments, £6K emergency fund and Lord knows what my Pension is worth, but I estimate about £20K thus far. Not rich, but I&apos;m well on my way and I&apos;m just about to turn 40 in April next year.

  i am 38 and exactly in the Andrew postion and it is pretty fun to think about what you are doing it for and it keeps me excited and invested literly! You pretty much naild it from the Andrew side Josh. I am happy i got an extra 2 years with the determination. I am putting around 1000-1400 in each month.

  Excellent video. I started at 42 and have been throwing 35% of my salary into it to catch up
