  as a teen who just got her nose pierced, I have to say this is the dumbest thing to ever exist. like if a horrible person doesn’t have a septum piercing, they’re just a horrible person. but if a horrible person with a septum piercing exists, suddenly all people with said piercing are horrible. it’s just stereotypes

  I'm glad my septum ring scares off small-minded losers. It saves me time honestly. I matched with a dude on a dating app who asked if I would remove my jewelry for him and I laughed at him and then immediately blocked him. Massive red flags to me.

  When I told men who were all on about that septum ring theory to, respectfully, not date alternative people if they&apos;re themselves, in fact, normies, I got a surprising amount of confusion in response. It&apos;s like they don&apos;t care about what kind of person they&apos;re trying to date at all. It seemed like it was all about the look, and then they were deeply surprised that the girls had values that contradicted the values of said men🤯<br>What a shocker, isn&apos;t it?

  I used to have a boyfriend who was completely against me getting any piercings or tattoos — even ones that had deep personal meaning. I wanted to get a tattoo as a tribute to my late parents, but he still refused to support me. Our friends even told him he was being unreasonable, but he wouldn’t budge.<br><br>He kept saying things like, “I won’t find you attractive anymore if you get those,” and it really brought me down. His reasoning? Apparently, his “crazy ex” had tattoos and piercings, and he said it would remind him of her.<br><br>Long story short, I dumped him, got my tattoos and piercings, and now I’m with a partner who loves them just as much as I do — and even encourages me to get more. &lt;3
