  People need to be taught about the environmental impacts of AI. <br><br>You can argue about it being bad for the job market and education since it’s still so new in these areas. However, you can’t argue about it being bad for the planet… it’s just a fact it’s terrible for the environment.

  Another big issue is that people are taking AI answers as absolute truths without vetting their information. A lot of people don’t seem interested to see where AI got the information from, just that it feels good enough for the asker.

  AI &quot;getting good&quot; is scary. Like I remember being scared about deep fakes and how someone could use it for nefarious shit like making it seem like someone is a monster. But all least with deep fakes you needed to talent to really trick someone. Now with AI generated speech and videos it&apos;s getting harder to parse what is real or not. I can&apos;t imagine how it&apos;ll look in a couple years or when people either using as a defense or lying about a video being AI. We&apos;re already having to worry about it with calls and &quot;leaked&quot; audios we need to have some things put in place to protect people.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oTSSZryuhc&amp;t=954">15:54</a> on this an subsequent points: I think a huge benefit of AI is not to have it give kids in school all the answers, but to actually become a tutor or teacher for kids to help them on an extremely individualized basis to meet them were they are in their understanding and learning of topics. There&apos;s already online K-12 schools trying this out and it&apos;s showing success. Imagine the potential benefits to kids where teacher talent isn&apos;t as good due to funding or other factors.
