  This looks great, imma get some leather dye to make my slates really pop out. Sanding them really improves the look of it. Thanks for this, I can't wait to see how they come out.

  Mate,, nice one, been trying allsorts lately, new to laser stuff and tech, most of my issues are with the laptop, anyway iv been practicing on old roof slate, im from liverpool uk, and north Wales, home of slate mines is just down the road, the way you prepared your slate made to diference, fantastic, im going to sand a couple down so I can engrave the liverpool football club chant,&apos;walk on, will look a lot better today,I used a flash black, metallic acrylic paint, ha. I was heading in the wrong direction ey, so thsnkyou, saved me a <br>Whole lot of fffkn round, <br>Thankyou and keep up the info and passing on of knowledge please.<br>Take care<br>Terry

  Really good video and well explained. &nbsp; &nbsp;I never new you could sand the slate smooth which gives it a really nice look. &nbsp;I&apos;ve used black leather dye on woodturning items before, but this is brilliant on the slate. &nbsp; &nbsp;Nice discovery and I&apos;m looking forward to giving it a try.
