I love Waldemar's presentation. His intonations are just right, not like the talking history heads of most art documentations. At first, his aggressive speech pattern irritated me, but then it grew on me, just like his plodding footsteps, expressive face, and wide-legged stance. Not your average presenter of information that can quickly become stale with most other presenters out there.

When I served in the U.S. Air Force, I was stationed in Turkey in an air base about a three hour ferry ride to Istanbul. My first long weekend there, aka the "Bull Run", I saw St. Sophia's built by Emperor Constantine in the 400s...it was huge...and turned into a mosque with the 'humongous' floor covered with Persian rugs: remarkable.

He managed to tie ALL the threads together, and I am richer for it. <br>I was fortunate to have an Art Education - and many of the images here I am at least familiar with. <br>But…<br>This magnificent video pulls it all into a shape that fills in the blank spots - and leaves me breathless.<br>I am knocked sideways.<br>Thank you.
