  I know everyone wants to do everything on their own with no help, but it won&apos;t work well with learning Asian languages. If I only self-studied, I wouldn&apos;t even be half as good as I am today.   I do have to admit when someone is at work and they hear their native language, it is kinda of off guard

  My wife was born in the Philippines. &nbsp;She had a filipina friend who was married to a Japanese guy that was temporarily working at a car parts plant here in the USA. &nbsp;One day we were helping them move and her friend was spinning in circles talking to her husband in japanese, my wife in tagalog and me in english. &nbsp;I was just in awe that she could do that. &nbsp;I really envy people like this that can speak multiple languages. Very impressive! &nbsp;Congratulations on your hard work.

  I have watched many videos of polyglots and the one thing that is common is that the people become much happier when someone speaks their language. &nbsp;To me language is not just words and phrases but also culture.

  I love these. I went to a &quot;Chinese&quot; restaurant in rural US with a friend who lived in China for many years. She spoke to the hostess &nbsp;and then switched to that young woman&apos;s dialect and she burst into tears hearing her own language for many years. It means so much when we make the effort.

  I NEVER GET TIRED OF SEEING THE SURPRIZED LOOKS &nbsp;ON PEOPLES FACES WHEN YOU SPEAK THEIR LANGUAGES!! I also love how its such an ice breaker too!

  The mom’s face on the train was priceless! &nbsp; People were so thrilled you could speak to them in their language❤️. How amazing to be able to speak multiple languages!

  Watching people light up when you speak their native tongues when they expect you to communicate in English just brings so much joy to me, it&apos;s so cute I would never get tired of that haha.
