  Never go where the killer wants you to go, in this case the barn.  Fight for your life in the car.  Once in the barn, you're toast.

  Goldie is such a wonderful fully realised creation, especially as she’s really just a side character there to convince Columbo not to give up when all the evidence says Bo is just away on business. They didn’t need to write or portray anyone with any depth but you can imagine her as a real person. <br><br>One of the top episodes IMHO and all credit to Peter Falk for his directorial debut in this one too.

  O&apos;Neal was such a good villain. He was very smart, he had contempt for Columbo, but in the end he knows when he&apos;s been beaten by Columbo&apos;s superior intellect.

  As someone who has viewed the entire episode, &nbsp;what I find &quot;confusing&quot; is how a &quot;very hungry architect&quot; could refuse the generous offer of half a Mounds bar from Columbo, especially when he knew Columbo also had RAISINS. &nbsp;I&apos;m telling ya, it&apos;s loose ends like that drive me crazy 🤔

  Thank God thus series was made in the 70s, so I can enjoy watching awesome cars from my childhood and youth time.
