  It drives me crazy when cruise videos give all the secrets away. &nbsp;Nothing I like more than everybody going to the buffet and leaving me alone at other venues.

  I always “overpack” and I don’t consider it a mistake. &nbsp;I want to be able to choose what I want to wear and not be forced into it because it’s the only clean garment left. &nbsp;Therefore, BY DESIGN I’m going to come home with a certain number of clothing items I didn’t use. &nbsp;And I’m okay with that!<br><br>I will never regret having something and not needing it, but I would DEFINITELY regret wanting something and not having it!

  Hi Alisa 😃<br>My mum and I just watched this video and you are bang on with your information. We have been on 3 cruises they were the NCL DAWN, Carnival Conquest and the Carnival Celebration and everything you said is so true. I will definitely recommend you and your videos for people who are going on their first cruise . We LOVE watching your videos . When we went on our third cruise back in November ,2025, we just passed over our carry on and checked bag &nbsp;to the porters and kept our backpacks , it was so much easier than keeping and having to drag the carry on around the buffet or guy&apos;s burger area , which was so much easier . Keep up the AMAZING videos My favorite of course is the cruising videos, and anything to do with Disney and Florida . We are from Nova Scotia Canada .<br>You and your husband Jason are AMAZING at what you do . 😃😃😃😃😃

  Good information. You didn&apos;t mention mistake of not planning clothes needed for disembarkation when packing on last night. Many people end up with wearing night clothes when disembarking.

  My daughter and I went on a cruise and we went to the event where they tell you about port shopping and diamond buying ect. They had drawings. &nbsp;We actually won the grand prize. So we did get free stuff. We won dinner for two at the you have to pay steakhouse! &nbsp;It was amazing. We also won a free excursion &nbsp;for two riding camels, on the beach it was amazing &nbsp;and included an all you can eat buffet, a walk through a cactus nature walk, we won a really cool bag and t shirt and a ton of bingo cards😊😊🤗🤗. And all of that cost us nothing 😁. So some things are free😂😂

  I get about being practical, but a girl needs options! Lol! I&apos;m heading out to Alaska on the Celebrity Edge on 7/17, and I will definitely have more than a carry-on <br>-on! I think it most certainly depends on the traveler and their style.

  Thanks for the info. You came up on my feed. Maybe because I love to look at anything that deals with cruising. I&apos;ve cruised Royal Caribbean in the past, now they are way over my head. I cruise Carnival with relatives, it&apos;s pretty nice but I now cruise exclusively for myself the Norwegian ships. I cruise solo on these and I have the best time. Everything you have said, really hit home. I&apos;m very particular about packing, flying in the day before and booking my specialty restaurants and shore excursions. I&apos;m such a stickler for not worrying about what I have to do once on board. <br>I do muster station, since I&apos;m solo, I have to update my table to 1 since you can&apos;t do that on line😮 and then I go to OSheehans or the local for lunch but I may try the main dining room or the American diner on my next Norwegian cruise. Thanks again for the tips, I liked and subscribed.

  I find that if I figure out what I will be doing each day I can lay out items, then mix &amp; match accordingly.
