I agree that the coolant situation is little confusing but subarus should really be using asian vehicle coolant. The green one was older and needed to be changed frequently, the blue one is newer subaru fluid. G12 or 12+ is not ideal for the asian vehicles. No need to be buying subaru OEM fluid, but definitely buy an asian vehicle one. You are not right about them beiing all the same, european pink coolants rely on OAT chemistry contrary to P-OAT chemistry used in asian vehicles.
