Hi I'm pregnant with my 3rd baby. 1st 2 were c-section deliveries. Can I have a vaginal birth by inducing?

I have just completed 38th week of my pregnancy nd started the 39th week. But my my family is asking to get induced because it's enough time already. Don't know what to do. I just opened YouTube to learn about this and saw this video. Commenting before watching. Feels like you already know what is going on in our mind 🤣. About to watch the video now.

Are low platelets under 60 a good reason to get induced?
I wish my doctors were open to monitoring my platelets in hopes of letting me go into labour naturally but they’re afraid they’ll drop suddenly and I won’t have time for ivig treatment.
I allowed them to induce me for my first baby but I’d love to have a natural labour this time

Hmmm I think it’s important to talk provide stats when talking about risks. We say things like “the risk increases” but from what to what? An increase in infection risk from 1 in 100 to 2 in 100 may not be enough to persuade a woman to get an induction after PROM for example.

I was at 40 weeks+6days...without any cervical opening. I had that brown red kindda small secretion like cells after having night cramps . Midwife was telling to go home but my doctor called me to the hospital and induced (capsule)twice. One induced by noon and the another one by late evening. The pain was so harsh it felt my lower backbone was breaking down . It ended with a C sec. It's been 3 years .

How about age of the mother? I have been offered a membrane sweep at 37 weeks and they don’t want to let me to go over 40 weeks because of my age. 42 years old. Does it make sense?

I was induced with my first kiddo due to PROM. It hadn't even been 12 hours. I am now pregnant with my third and recently had an amniotic leak and it healed by itself within a couple days. Made me realize even more that I regret being induced with my first. It was such a traumatic experience for me.
