  I was. 15 year old from La Crosse at this time.  I remember it well.  It was homecoming for the college.  She was babysitting, and disappeared and they never found her.   Kids my age never got over it.  We never felt safe again.  A terrible experience that has never left me.

  It's easy to reconcile Gein didn't kidnap Hartley: Ed was into chicks his mother's age, not teenagers. He didn't break into houses either.

  I have lived in Lacrosse all my life. Evelyn Hartley was not found under the road when they rebuilt it. Ed Gein has never been convicted or found to have participated in an abduction. Most of his victims were already dead and dug back up.  The murders he was convicted up were so poorly carried out they were the last crimes he committed. Those two theories have long been disproven.  It’s the same as all the murders we try to link to serial killers just because they happen when the killer is active.  There are lots of bad people out there.

  He pronounces Ed Gein as Ed Gunn. Then goes on to say how famous he is. If he so famous then why can't he pronounce the name correctly.

  So, this picture of her car is not parked on a gravel driveway. In Wisconsin, &nbsp;it is dark at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aemJ1T-Etk&amp;t=630">10:30</a> at night, even in the summer.

  The story about Kayla really infuriates me! Kevin got away with this! Kayla wouldn’t ask to be dropped off at a house she knew her boyfriend did not live at anymore.. Kevin just didn’t know that! She most likely never even made it to Wausau!!! Kevin shouldn’t just be locked up for what he did to that child but for the years he’s gotten away with it he deserves the same torture he put her family through!!!

  I remember Alexis Patterson, &nbsp;we had just moved into the Washington heights neighborhood when this happened. &nbsp;I remember the police , detectives, &nbsp;searching all the garbage &nbsp;cans, yards, everywhere. &nbsp;This went on for weeks. &nbsp; Never found. My husband was a teacher to one of her family members, &nbsp;he was thinking the stepdad had something to do with it. So sad.😢
