Get me footage of another player who lifted a whole team and city from 3-0 down at half time in a champions league final to no other than one of the best A.C.Milan teams of all time and win. For me he,s the best example to any player anywhere of how to play our beautiful game and how to conduct yourself as well. Pure beautiful .

Liverpool fans want 1 thing,, to leave a game happy,, and Stevie did that when no one else could in those 17 years... he left us fans stunned and inspired,, the first game of pro football i ever watched was Istanbul,, i was a neutral,, by the end of the game i was hooked on Liverpool and have watched the majority of games ever since,, Stevies attitude and work rate in that 2nd half has made me believe i can work my way out of the dark times in my life,, and unfortunately there's been alot,, but if i didnt watch that game i seriously doubt id have learnt that hard work and determination to keep me alive...

If Stevie didn’t get injured just before the World Cup in 2002, we’d have stood a genuine chance of getting past Brazil and on to winning. That World Cup was our true Golden Generation opportunity, but without their heart
