  No matter what year its taken/released, the Bigfoot footage we get always looks like it comes from 1960 and shot from 300 yards away with the lens zoomed in to the max

  fun fact: big foot sightings are found in the exact locations to where bear sightings are. In Ohio there are over 300 bigfoot sightings in the southeast, because &nbsp;people keep mistaking the black bears as bigfoot.

  Hi all! Hi Case!!! I got too excited about knowing something and had to comment. Regarding the cave with the Native American remains:<br><br>I’m an Anthropologist/Archaeologist and while my speciality is nautical archaeology (shipwrecks and such), my studies also included various classes such as Anthropology of Death and Native American Studies and most of my field work has been working with various tribes while I work on my masters. While it is, of course, super possible someone slipped into that cave and died there while out walking, gathering, hunting, etc. it’s also possible that it was a ceremonial site. That “shrine” could’ve actually been just that! In lots of cultures, caves were connections or portals to the underworld and would be used for burials. This was especially common in the southern most Americas (primarily peoples like the Maya). But (primarily) Southeastern Native Americans also performed cave burials. So another possibility is the cave could’ve also been used for burials and it got washed out/disturbed by rains and flooding or other explorers messed around. <br><br>Standard protocol would be for the authorities to contact the local tribes about the site to see how they want to proceed since its remains.<br><br>However, considering they have filmed and posted these remains and (as far as I know) have not gotten repressions or been told to take the video down leads me to believe it’s not real. Filming Native American remains (especially touching them without consent of the tribes) violates NAGPRA and is very much illegal. The first thing they teach us when you take an intro to archaeology class is to never film or photograph any remains you might find, grave or not, and don’t touch them until the tribes have been contacted and out to see the remains themselves.<br><br>Sorry for the long post lol I don’t often get to yap about things I know. I have coworkers who could tell you way better information since they’ve been doing it for way longer, but the basics are still very interesting!!! Love you Case!
