I can so relate to this song ❤after sitting in silence for so long in an abusive relationship for a decade lying to the cops when they showed up at my house for a domestic bcs if I didn't lie he would beat me up 20x worse or he would threaten to kill me and my kids and family, so I stayed with him bcs of that and suffered for 10yrs getting cheated on gas lighted manipulated belittled verbally physically and emotionally and financially abused once I finally had enough and I called the cops and finally found my voice and got myself and my daughter out of there and never looked back, after leaving I shared my story for everyone to see and it truly felt good ❤my life matters my daughters life matters so I spoke up and broke the cycle and the silence ❤this song is amazing

This song means so much to me, everytime I show my smarts, my voice, my opinion I'm being bullied I'm only 13 and I've been to 2 schools where im always being targeted. This gives me faith, that one day I'll show my voice and change what has to be changed. But until then, I'm in the shadows

To the Kenyans who need to hear this. They can read all about it. We won't be oppressed in our own nation

I’m a child welfare worker. I play this for all of my teens, many that sit beside me in the car as we make a trip to new placement, crying, upset, and angry. I wish nothing more than for them to truly hear the words and for these words to lift them up and give them the confidence they need to MAKE their voices be heard. ❤
