That is a lovely bench and I think you have done some great things with it but Ron Paulk has been making them since around 2012 I believe and has spent years improving it, he has put 100s of hours into it and should have definitely been mentioned and given the credit in this video.

Agree with many comments here - should have credited Paulk. Usually extremely impressed with your videos which are informative, easy to follow, and very useful. It's the stand that impressed me and had me click on this

I only saw this now and felt compelled to comment … but I’m late to the game and the points are well made already.
Concept: metal fabrication tables were probably first to adopt such a hole pattern.
MFT top: branded and promoted by Festool, particularly with the 20mm dog holes and 96mm spacing (fits right in with the European 32mm cabinet system standard)
The Parf Dogs / bench dogs approach to alignment and registration: immortalised by Peter Parfitt and UJK.
And the torsion box portable bench: Ron Paulk for decades.
Pneumatic lift table: Dennis, aka Mr. Black MDF, at HookedOnWood pulled it all together on a Felder lift table.

I love your content and learn lots from your great videos. This one though feels like credit wasn’t given to those who brought these great ideas to us all.

Those benches have been around for over 50 years, probably. But they were used for welding set-up tables. Chippy's then discovered them, and the rest is history.
