Water tanks are intentionally designed to fail; it's called planned obsolescence.

The video often was showing things other than what was being talked about. For example they were showing the drain on the tank while talking about the Temp and pressure relief valve.

Just replaced my 14 year olf AO Smith Tank with a 49 Gal Bradford White and a $200 <br>Corro - Protect Electric Titinaim Anode rod. saved $1000 installing it my self and i<br>f the Corro - Protect does it's job I'll be long dead before it craps out.
